Yes! I would like to see every child in need raised in a strong family.

Family Champions

In the UK as many as 4.2 million children are currently being raised in poverty, with little support for their parents to manage poverty-related stressors. In areas of deprivation the rates of disruptive behaviour in children are significantly higher due to the negative psychological, social and economic consequences of their environment. Research has shown that the most effective, early intervention to help children is group-based parenting programmes. That is what we do!

Join our growing community of Family Champions – people like you – who give anything they can on a monthly basis to see every child in need raised in a strong family.

What We Do

Kids Matter engages local churches to equip parents and carers facing disadvantages with confidence, competence, and community, enabling their children to thrive.

Speech Bubble Background

“I give to Kids Matter as I believe early intervention is key to helping children change the negative trajectory their circumstances may have set them on. I love hearing how even the smallest of changes to a family’s routine and understanding of one another can have such a positive impact on the children.”

Theresa, Family Champion

Group Shot 2

Every donation, no matter how small, helps build strong families.

Now more than ever we need to meet the needs of the most vulnerable children in this country.

We believe that every child in need deserves the best chance in life and we believe the best way to give them that is to equip their parents and carers with the confidence, competence and community they need.
